Every year I can hardly await the time when the days get warmer and longer and the cherry trees finally begin to bloom. For a while their branches are overloaded with delicate pink petals, which are gently swaying in the mild air – and that scent! Just overwhelming.
After a few days though, the petals get blown away by the wind, the street is covered in pink and suddenly the whole magic is over. I look forward to seeing you again next year, my dear blossoms, and after this year’s stunning blossoming there will hopefully be loads of cherries during summer.
