I’m inspired by nature’s lightshow and how it constantly changes from one minute to the other. When visiting a place, my first interest is not the location itself, but what the natural light does with it. I capture and transform the mood of special moments into pictures, as it is always the mood created by the light I remember most about places. Those memories deserve to be conserved, because every moment is special and every memory of it even more.
Light creates moods, moods create feelings, feelings create art.
My work pays tribute to the ordinary. Although I love to travel, it is often not world’s most spectacular views I’m pointing my camera at. There is so much beautiful stuff to be found far away from touristic attractions. This is my own reminder to slow it down, get back to base, seize the light and look out for the magic it does.
